Burglaries

We are currently investigating a number of residential burglaries in the Abergele / Llansannan / Llandudno area.

These crimes have occurred over the last week whilst the majority of residents were away. We are appealing for any information into these events and ask that residents in these areas check CCTV and ring door bells for any persons acting suspiciously who may have potentially been scoping out premises. Residents are advised to take the following preventative measures:

Ensure all doors and windows are locked

Use timer switches on lights to give the impression the property is occupied

Arrange for a trusted neighbour, friend or family member to regularly check on the property and remove post / parcels

Keep valuables out of sight

Secure sheds, garages and outbuildings

Ensure any CCTV / ring door bells are working / recording

keep a car on the drive / ask a neighbour to park on the drive where possible

if you have a house alarm ensure it is switched on and working
